Metaverse Academy, held a key meeting with 3 sister projects: Digital Twin, PAX, and Alliance4XR, aiming to foster cooperation in the integration of advanced technologies in education and vocational training.
This meeting not only reinforces collaboration among Erasmus+ projects but also demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement through mutual support and joint development of digital innovations.
All four projects will participate in the EuroXR 2024 conference in November, where they will showcase their progress and explore new synergies to improve the educational experience across Europe.
This projects share a focus on digitalizing education, with a particular emphasis on using emerging technologies to enhance the skills of students and workers. Collaboration possibilities include creating joint educational materials, integrating technologies like XR and digital twins, and implementing inclusive methodologies that ensure equitable access to advanced training.
Alliance4XR is set on co-creating and testing a well-tailored teaching and training methodology and material for empowering HEIs and VET to successfully address the challenge of XR digital skills mismatch focusing with a focus in engineering.
Digital Twin, on the other hand, focuses on using digital models to simulate and optimize processes in real-time, enhancing efficiency in areas like engineering and manufacturing. The project promotes the use of “digital twins” to facilitate hands-on learning and predictive analysis in educational and professional environments.
Finally PAX aims to foster inclusive education by implementing digital technologies and open educational resources. The project focuses on providing accessible and personalized tools to help close the educational gap for students with different abilities and backgrounds.
The meeting also identified opportunities to share best practices, jointly assess the challenges of digital training in Europe, and develop solutions that respond to the evolving needs of the labor market.
