In order to fulfill this mission, BEBKA is actively working in six pillars: Entrepreneurship, Green and digital transition, Vocational Education Training and Innovation, Rural development and youth employment.

Sabanci University is internationally recognised as one of the most research-oriented and innovative universities in Turkey. In 2023, SU was ranked among the top 500 universities in the world and 2nd in Turkey according to THE World University Rankings. Since the Sabanci team has more than 20 years of research and application experience on Technology Enhanced Learning and Immersive Technologies, this expertise will be brought to the project. The coordinator managed 3 similar Erasmus+ projects in the past and is currently conducting research on AR/VR/XR. The team also successfully completed a national MOOC project.

Starting in 2016 till now, UBB has held the highest position in Romania in the University Metaranking – a comprehensive academic ranking which combines the major international university rankings, like ARWU, QS, THE, etc.

The Universitat Jaume I de Castellón (UJI) is a public university in the Valencian Community, established in 1991 to contribute to social, economic, and cultural development through knowledge creation. With 13,685 students, it offers 32 undergraduate degrees, 42 postgraduate master’s degrees, and 33 specialization courses across four areas. The university consists of 28 departments and 14 research institutes focused on various knowledge areas, fostering strong connections with the Valencian region’s economic and social sectors. Recognized by the European Commission, UJI received the “HR Excellence in Research” award in 2020. It ranks 9th in Spain according to THE World University Rankings 2020 and is among the top 700 globally by the Shanghai list.

Vaal University of Technology (VUT) is a higher education institution in South Africa situated in a historically industrial area on the Vaal Region in the town of Vanderbijlpark, Sedibeng District Municipality. VUT enrolls about 20 000 students annually from all over South Africa and Africa. The university has four diverse faculties namely the Faculty of Human Sciences, Faculty of Applied and Computer Sciences, Faculty of Management Sciences and Faculty of Engineering & Technology, offering a wide range of qualifications. The language of tuition is mainly English, but Sesotho, Sepedi and Isizulu are widely spoken by staff and students and accommodated in certain aspects of the university business.
